In August 2000, Rev. Al Sharpton organized the "Redeem the Dream" march in Washington DC commemorating the 37th anniversary of Rev. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. His rally included a lengthy address by New Black Panther leader Malik Zulu Shabazz filled with disturbing racism and calls to violence against whites.   "We have a black dream today of when we see caskets rolling in the black community, that we will see caskets rolling and funerals in the white community of our enemy as well today... we have a black dream."

If Gen. Stanley McChrystal expressed views in the Rolling Stone article are what he believes then he should resign. By resigning on principal, he can be a voice for the opposition to this government’s direction. If however he meets with the president and lets the president direct his future, his views and beliefs have no weight or merit.

Today I am going to focus on FRBNY's culpability in the apparent Lehman fraud - that is, the role that FRBNY (and thus Tim Geithner) played in keeping an insolvent institution afloat through the use of fraudulent artifices. Barack Obama should not only try harder to kick his smoking habit, his team of doctors warned, but they also recommended 'moderation of alcohol intake'. It would seem the pressure of the U.S. presidency - and all those White House receptions - are taking their toll after the 48-year-old's first medical checkup since winning the race to the White House. The chief executive, who has endured an exhausting first year in the White House and year-long battles with congressional Republicans, should also eat better to lower his cholesterol, but was otherwise declared in excellent health and fit for duty. The White House physician, Navy Capt Jeffrey Kuhlman, said Obama should stick with 'moderation in alcohol intake' and ‘smoking cessation efforts’, the use of nicotine gum, and come back in August 2011 after he turns 50. ABC's Jonathan Karl had a bristly exchange with Bunning just outside one such elevator in the Hart Building -- Bunning was in the elevator and Karl was trying to get in there with him and pose a question about the senator's blocking a bill extending employment benefits. Bunning wasn't having it. Not only did he forbid Karl from entering the elevator, but, as reported by Politico's Glenn Thrush , gave an ABC producer, Zach Wolf , the finger. (In our photograph we see Bunning's use of his pointer finger.) Bunning has been in a foul mood as of late. Some may remember his "Tough Sh-t" utterance on the Senate floor last week. The bawdy Fox cartoon "Family Guy" features a mentally disabled girl whose mother is governor of Alaska, and Palin, naturally, responds : People are asking me to comment on yesterday’s Fox show that felt like another kick in the gut. Bristol was one who asked what I thought of the show that mocked her baby brother, Trig (and/or others with special needs), in an episode yesterday. Instead of answering, I asked her what she thought. Here is her conscientious reply, which is a much more restrained and gracious statement than I want to make about an issue that begs the question, “when is enough enough?”: “When you’re the son or daughter of a public figure, you have to develop thick skin. My siblings and I all have that, but insults directed at our youngest brother hurt too much for us to remain silent. I believe the American people are looking for a government that will bring the honor of being an American back to its citizens. With a firm adherence to its peoples Judeo Christian morals. Where the rest of the world looks to America with homage and reverence as the light.

Those of you that read and follow my perspective on current events will understand what I am about to say. If you don’t agree with the following or do agree please let me know. I believe that what happened at Fort Hood can be blamed on this administration, in part, because of all of this political correctness crap. What kind of military do we have now and society do we have that promotes and permits anti-American activities to be the norm? This is a direct result of “political correctness” that is pushed on all segments of our society.

An interesting thing happened to me tonight after I put up another picture of myself on Facebook, I started to receive several e-mails. The first e-mail directed towards me was titled hey Vinney is that you? First of all I do not respond to Vinney. I believe that when someone calls me Vinney, that they are implying and ethnic tone. The second e-mail I got, was completely in Spanish. Another e-mail I got, said " I don't like white men, I am not a racist, I just don't like white men". I also got one stating, now that I know are you look I hope that you understand that there are ladies here. Many more e-mails followed, I believe that you get the flavor of the comments. You know, you would think that in these days and times, in fact this would be humorous. Anybody with any knowledge of history knows that everybody is a combination of everyone else.
