Am I and about 40k of my readers and America to understand that Obamacare will pass? You mean to tell me that after all the polls that state that America does not want this bill, Obamacare will pass? You mean to tell me that after all the Townhall meetings that America told their elected officals that they don't want Obamacare will pass? You mean to tell me that day after day and week after week of Tea Parties stating they don't want this bill, Obamacare will pass? You mean to tell me that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is asking all female Democratic Members to attend a hastily called meeting Wednesday morning to agree with Obamacare and that Obamacare will pass? Tou mean to tell me that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi , still shoring up support for Obamacare that America has been vocal about not passing and Obamacare will pass? You mean to tell me that Rep. Today I am going to focus on FRBNY's culpability in the apparent Lehman fraud - that is, the role that FRBNY (and thus Tim Geithner) played in keeping an insolvent institution afloat through the use of fraudulent artifices. We must look first to what the PDCF, or "primary dealer credit facility" was created to be. The report does this for us: Under the PDCF, the FRBNY would make collateralized loans to broker ‐ dealers, such as LBI, and in effect, act as a repo counterparty. Why hasn’t this President offered any kind of compassionate aid to a predominately Christian nation (one of only two in Asia) in a crisis. The Philippines where the 1987 Philippine Constitution, states Filipino and English are the official languages. A country that committed itself to promote the American ideals of democracy. The Philippines values its relations with the United States, and has actively supported most of the other's policies with regards to foreign affairs. Death toll from flooding in Philippines has hit 240 because of Tropical Storm Ketsana. Another storm is brewing east of the island nation and could hit as early as Friday.

Black Harvard scholar says he's able to joke about arrest

CHILMARK, Mass. -- A black Harvard scholar said Sunday he has been able to joke about his arrest by a white police officer that led to a national debate on race, but he also has received death threats and bomb threats. In his first public appearance since meeting with Cambridge police Sgt. James Crowley at the White House, Henry Louis Gates said he and the officer found some humor in the incident and have since discussed going out to eat or taking in a Boston Red Sox or Celtics game.
