The fast-growing citizen-journalism sector just got a new toy to play with, as TechCrunch described new iPhone app TwitCasting Live , which splits the iPhone screen in half, allowing users to record and broadcast video on the top half, while at the same time accessing their Twitter accounts or the Web on the bottom half. According to TechCrunch, TwitCasting Live users can tweet out a URL for their broadcasts, and their followers can click the links and watch (although without audio on other iPhones).
