Former Powell chief of staff to speak at Nova

The chief of staff for former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell will deliver a keynote address Wednesday at a symposium at Nova Southeastern University, examining accountability for crimes against humanity.

Retired Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who served as chief of staff from 2002 to 2005, is set to speak at 6 p.m. at the Alvin Sherman Library on the school's main campus at 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd.

Wilkerson's address will focus on the war against terrorism, including the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and the Patriot Act.

The symposium will run from March 9 to March 11 and is free and open to the public.
