Police: 1 Arrested In Anthony Trial Fight - Orlando News Story - WKMG Orlando: "Melbourne Beach officers were called to the Melbourne Beach pier at around 11:54 p.m. Saturday about a fight in progress.
Once at the scene, officers said they tried to make contact with the suspect, 42-year-old Robert Aydin Hakimoglu, who was accused of hitting a woman in the face while he was intoxicated.
Police said Hakimoglu saw officers approaching, so he jumped off the pier and into the Indian River after officers ordered him to stop, and proceeded to swim towards the middle of the river."
