Global Warming? Read Detroit...Third coldest July on record at Detroit...

With an average monthly temperature of 68.9 degrees...July 2009 will
go down as the 3rd coldest on record at Detroit. The record is 67.2
degrees set back in 1891...with second place being 68.8 degrees set
in 1992.

To further illustrate how cool this month has been...this is only
the fourth time in July the high temperature for the month failed to
reach 87 degrees. Also...18 days during this past month the low
temperature dropped below 60 degrees...this is the third most on
record...with the record being 20 days back in 1891.
