The freezing powers of the Polar Vortex 2014 have made us all do things we will likely later look back on and regret. Especially in Texas, where anything below 70 degrees makes us a little crazy. Include the poor maintenance worker who set a North Austin townhome on fire
yesterday while using a blowtorch to melt frozen faucets. While no one
was injured in the fire at Edgecliff Condos on Wood Hollow Drive near
Far West Boulevard and Greystone Drive, five people were displaced from
their homes one of the coldest days in Austin in years.
